While 10 and 20-year term insurance coverages are great choices in many situations, they do come with some risk. An illness or disability may impact your chances of qualifying to purchase a new policy. You may need to pay costly renewal rates. T65 can help eliminate your risk because there's no need to shop around for new coverage every 10 or 20 years and the premiums you pay stay the same for the life of the coverage.
Are you willing to take the risk?
Did you know that at age   you have  % probability of becoming critically ill or becoming disabled before age 65?

Graphs show premiums to age 65, the expiry date of the Term 65 product. Term 10 and Term 20 expire at age 80.
Age is the policy anniversary nearest to the insured person's birthday.
Total premium to age 65 uses a 3% discount rate to adjust for the time value of money (Net Present Value).
Assumes the insured person is approved in underwriting and their Healthstyle has not changed.
New policy rates assume current rates are available in the future and use age of insured's birthday nearest the renewal date. Rates available at that time maybe different.
Risk data:
This data is current as of March 2012. Percentages have been rounded.
The probability of critical illness, disability referenced in the graph is based on a mixture of incidence rates from studies of both the insured and general population, which do not necessarily represent the same critical illness covered conditions or definitions of disability and critical illness conditions as contained in a disability policy and a critical illness policy and are not necessarily representative for any given insured person. Factors that may contribute to an individual's risk of critical illness or disability include family history, lifestyle and environment. The probability of becoming critically ill or disabled before age 65 was determined by projecting claims experience to age 65 using these incidence rates and determining the probability of at least one event occurring. The probability of at least one event occurring is less than the sum of the probabilities for both events, as individuals may incur multiple events.
